Your Scheduling Input is Needed!

Monica Menner

Kitchener and Cambridge will be conducting a scheduling survey in order to better represent the membership. With each new sign-up your Scheduling Committees are given a draft copy of the bid list before it is posted. We then go through each group to ensure certain criterion is met.  Some things we look for are; consistency in start and finish times, in routing, and start and finish locations. We also look for any discrepancies in travel times and proper break times during and in between shifts.

With expansion and increase in conventional service we are noticing inconsistencies that affect all levels of seniority. With your input the Scheduling Committee can suggest changes to improve groups. Surveys are included in this edition of the Informer. We are asking the membership to fill these surveys out and deposit them in the ballot box located in the Driver’s room at the Kitchener and/or Cambridge garage.

Ballot boxes will be available for depositing surveys until June 18th. If you have any questions contact a scheduling committee member.
